PCB Design

We participated in a PCB design competition, where we drafted schematics and designed printed circuit boards for multiple embedded electronics projects using EAGLE CAD.

Collaborator: Vismay Sharma

Projects & Implementation:

  1. Water Level Indicator

    • Designed circuitry to measure water levels and provide digital/analog output for monitoring.

    • Implemented sensor interfacing, power regulation, and LED/buzzer indicators on a compact PCB layout.

  2. Bluetooth Relay Home Appliance Board

    • Designed a relay control board to switch home appliances via Bluetooth commands.

    • Integrated microcontroller, relay driver circuits, and Bluetooth module on a single PCB.

    • Ensured proper isolation between high-voltage relay tracks and low-voltage control signals.

Achievements:

  • Secured first position in the competition, demonstrating both design proficiency and practical PCB implementation skills.

  • Gained experience in schematic-to-PCB workflow, component footprint selection, trace routing, and design rule checks (DRC).
